Where the trains once ran

HaMesila means "the railway". The park follows the route of the old line from Jaffa to Jerusalem, which started at HaTachana, the station on the edge of Neve Tzedek.

Today the old route is a green path with trees, benches, cafés and a bike lane.

Living near the park

The park connects two very different neighborhoods: the quiet lanes of Neve Tzedek and the lively streets of Florentin. Homes near the park combine both: green space on the doorstep and the city all around.
